Welcome to MyPrivacyPolls (“MPP”), a groundbreaking survey creation and response platform that prioritizes privacy and confidentiality. MPP is developed and provided by the Public Interest Tech Lab (“PITL”) at Harvard University (“Harvard”). Certain of MPP’s features and functions may run on the MyDataCan platform (“MyDataCan”) operated by the Harvard Data Privacy Lab (“DPL”).
Capitalized terms here have the meanings given to them in the MyPrivacyPolls Terms of Service.
What Information Does MyPrivacyPolls Collect About Me?
- If you are a Form Creator, the Service collects your email address and the Form Content you generate using the Service.
- If you are a Respondent, the Service communicates your Responses to the Form Creator but does not retain them afterward.
Where Does MyPrivacyPolls Store My MPP Information?
Gray Service. Form Content and Form Creators’ MyDataCan user keys are stored on MPP systems, and Form Creators’ email addresses are stored in MyDataCan. Responses are not saved or stored.
What Does MyPrivacyPolls Do With My MPP Information?
MyPrivacyPolls uses Your MPP Information to operate the Service. In addition, MyPrivacyPolls may use Your MPP Information to generate and review aggregate information regarding Service usage and participation.
